I often find myself wandering through new model homes; I have a passion for beautiful homes, as a kid I would cut out pictures of beautiful homes out of the real estate section of the local news paper and paste them in a scrap book. But little did I know that I was already creating my very first vision board at a very young age. I like to look at different homes and see the different lay outs and how they are decorated. I sometimes take pictures and incorporate the ideas in to my current home. Although I have a vast knowledge of the Law of attraction, home looking, finding your vision and buying, I experienced something totally different this weekend.
A friend and I were hanging out this weekend, and decided to stop by a couple of model homes to take a look. I though oh, this will be fun, since we are both very metaphysical and understand how the Law of Attraction works. We both were open to let our mind wonder and take in the experience. I have visited these homes maybe a total of three times and so I figured oh, I can give him the grand tour and show him the things that I found interesting about the homes. Well, to my surprise as we entered the home, my friend started pointing out things that he found a little awkward about the spaces, and he interjected ideas of how he would change the space. I was a little stunned at first, because I never really stopped to think about exactly what I wanted! I never thought about I could actually change the appearance of what I was seeing, by taking the time to really imagine my self in the home.
The morale of today’s blog is, look with an objective eye, not only do you seek to understand what you want to request from the Universe, but look at your request as though it was already yours, or as if you had the cash and ready to purchase. An epiphany came over me in that instance as I was listening to my friend dissect the space as it was his own, and I started really putting myself in the space and found that some of the things that I thought were so wonderful about the house, really was not conducive to the way I wanted to live.
Always keep you mind and ears open to the messages that the Universe is sending you. If I would have never had the opportunity to spend time with someone with an objective eye, I would have not had a chance to realize that I was not truly asking for what I want! If you asks the Universe for something, try to be specific, what color, what style, what does it need to look like for you? If you have problems figuring this out then go look, test drive and take some objective friends with you to spark conversations to get you to thinking about what is it you really want. I am lucky because I have people around me that are very precise in having what they truly want.
So, if you fancy a new car, go test drive it, and then maybe with a friend and if you want that new out fit, go try it on! There is nothing in the world that says that you can’t go visit the thing you want by your self, but by taking along a friend, you get a different perspective. Take someone that knows you and your heart, this way they can be objective and open to your highest good. I have a group of people I call my “Mastermind Group” These are very intelligent people that I respect and love, be very careful of those that you induct in to this group, make sure that they have your highest good in their intentions and also make sure that they are not (crab) like. (lol) Meaning they do not want you to excel out of the bucket before them, so they will pull you back. So, remember take the time to figure out what you truly want, and make sure you know what It looks like in detail before you ask for it!!

You Have The Power!
We are all well equipped with everything we need to get what we want. But, some of us are hesitant or fearful of using the God giving gifts that you have been given to have what you want. Some of us are fearful of asking for what we want or feel that others seem to have it easier. Some of us choose to use others to get what we want, as though it’s easier if someone else just give to you what you want instead of you extending you’re self to achieve it. We are all linked to one another in some shape or form and we all posses the power to have!
Some of us worry about every little detail about things, situations and people, working our selves up in to frenzy, as though we have no control over what happens in our lives. Some of can’t make a decision unless we pass it by others first. We all have stages of growth that we will go through, some faster then others, but the discovery is the same. That we as a people have a choice to live well or live below our potential.
As much physical work that a person do daily to achieve their goals a large amount of mental work needs to be equally done. Learning to take quiet moments to imagine, focus and think about what you want is as important as the doing part of any situation.
My Grandmother and many elders would often say, “Before you make a decision, you must quiet your self and pray and talk to God about your decision”. This process is very accurate, too many of us are running around in circles thinking we are doing something, and sadly we are just spinning our wheels. We don’t take the time to think through our decisions or focus our thoughts, on what we truly want and need, before we are doing something to try and get what we say we want, only to find its not what we truly wanted later.
Focus, think, imagine, pray, consult the Creator, imagine your self with it and act as if you deserve it, consult only those that are of your true council and sometimes only consult the Creator. Walk and talk like you already have it and ask your self do I really want it and once I get it how will it benefit me or others? Take time to start trusting your self, and believing in your own good.
Example: of the Law of Attraction working. I had been imagining to myself about me and a friend going away to an exclusive spa, I imagined as though we were making the plans and how it would be. Surprisingly when I checked my mail yesterday afternoon there was a flyer in the mail to an exclusive spa! I did not add myself to any list and I did not seek out a spa. I only imagined it and it came to my attention. Now, looking at the prices, I should have imagined a free invitation! LOL! But, this is just an example as to how this process works. This situation was the Universe letting me know, that it heard me and that the process of the Law of Attraction is working! Be grateful. Slow down, dream big, and detach your need for others to approve your needs, trust the Creator and your self to do right by you! Be grateful of the signs from the Universe that let you know it hear all your request!

Take Best Care Of You 1st!
It is most important that you treat yourself with proper care and respect.
Allowing people or situations to affect your personal feelings and care for yourself is unwise. We are not made to carry stress and handle unhappiness in our lives on a consistent basis. Learn to love you enough to eliminate issues and situations that don’t honor who you are. People will only do what is allowed for them to do. I grew up thinking that speaking up for one self was being rude, but as I became an adult I soon figured out that my kindness was considered a weakness and I needed to make an adjustment! Know that life is given as a gift; we are his greatest creation, so nothing of him would ever encourage or promote the idea of someone taking advantage of you! Learn to understand what motivates you and what controls your self will, ask for strength in times of need. Increase your faith and trust that tomorrow always brings a better day. #Selfloveisneeded~Gia

What Is Your Core Telling You?
Just because you are busy, don’t mean you are doing anything productive!
People, if allowed will have you strung out doing exactly what they feel is important to them. Learn to say no to the time wasters and dream chasers. Your time is valuable and worthy of respect so be selective in whom or what you give attention too. Its Leap year ya’ll, time to leap into your future! #Saynotofoolishness~Gia
If you have ever enjoyed a nice piece of fruit, you know that sometimes on the inner part of the fruit, which is called the core, their may be seeds or a hard spine or maybe just a bitter inner part that have to be removed or cut out before the fruit can actually be enjoyed. The core is considered the center it’s the internal part of anything that may act as a catalyst to hold something together or it can be the start of developing something. We all have a core; all things begin with a core. The new exercise craze right now speaks of strengthening your core which is considered the mid stomach area on your body. The core can also be the foundation of your inner emotions.
There will be times when you feel something emotional deep in the pit of your stomach. This area is considered your emotional core. You will feel so strongly about something or a situation that you will feel it physically in your body’s frame. I believe that the Creator added this little section in our bodies as an internal time clock that will react as an alarm when we are in need of internal wisdom. So, “what is your core telling you?” Are you feeling antsy like you need to move or do something different? Does your core become hard when a time of stress or butterfly flutters? All of these feelings are working toward getting you use to using your internal systems to make decisions and to alert you of something.
We often make rash decisions with out taking time out to stop and really evaluate what we feel inside. God has given us some useful equipment that we sometimes rarely use. Just like a well equipped vehicle, we have our very own (Onstar security system) this internal system will sound an alarm, asking us internal questions and push us forward to reach our goals. So listen to your core and what it is saying to you, remembering that our answers are always inside of us. What is your core telling you?

Get It Together!
Stop stretching yourself so thin, multitasking maybe a way of doing things but not a way to constantly live. Be fully present in each moment of your life. Handle each task one at a time, if you don’t you will only be giving out portions of yourself. Anytime you handout portions to anything it takes away from it being whole. Although your intentions are good, no one wants bits and pieces of you, so shut it all down, regroup and start again.
We often get so caught up in work, life kids, bills that we are stretched mentally and physically from one end to the next. I use to pride myself in being able to accomplish as many things in a day that would take a small office of five to complete in a week. I don’t know if it was ego or just plain control issues that had me thinking I had life under control. Pretty soon the sense of accomplishment went out the door, with stress and health issues taking residence in my life. I was so focused on getting things done, that even family became a task to get accomplished. The crazy part is that in my quest to juggle everything I really felt well accomplished until I realized that I was not fully present and that I was only getting by. I don’t know about you, but doing a half ass job will result in having to do over, what could have been done correct the first time. There is more to life than just getting by, and looking good while we do it. The phone is constantly ringing, at home, work and in the car. I’m picking up or dropping off. I’m managing multiple projects, goals and issues all in a days’ time. When dose our body and brain catch up? I use to think sleep was our time to regenerate and renew, but I’m finding out that even in sleep if we are bogged down, our minds will not allow us to rest leaving us feeling cranky and upset. If you awake with an attitude, and not know why, it’s because we are over loading ourselves up and taking it all to bed at night with us, and we are truly mad about it. Slowly it dawned on me that I’m on the treadmill of life, which I so wanted to avoid! If you find yourself in this place it’s a sign that although your busy, life is passing you by. So to remedy the overlapping of your work life balance, take some time to figure out what needs to be done and how you are going to go about doing it. One thing at a time.~Gia

Take Inventory!
There comes a time when, you have to do some inventory on the people in your life. Are you surrounded by loving supportive people or are half the people you hang with doubtful and skeptical of you and your dream? We often entertain bad treatment from others to get along or fit in, but the real issue is that we tolerate their ridicule and keep them as so called friends. This is not recess and life is truly no play ground, our time should not be wasted explaining our desire to be more. There is a classic crab in the bucket mentality that wants to keep you in, as you’re trying to climb out! Your seeds of work, faith and belief should not be scattered on shallow ground, be mindful of where you are trying to deposit your dreams. As in any crop if the ground is constantly being washed over by a sea of negativity, each idea or goal you plant will float away. Take inventory of how many of your inner circle folks are in agreement with you or are they throwing salt and roadblocks to slow you down? The enemy is crafty he is not past using family and friends to mess with your mind and deposit doubt and disbelief in your mind. If criticism is always prevalent or close when a certain friend or family member is around, then you may need to limit your visits or learn to keep your seeds covered. When you are working hard to cultivate your garden of dreams and ideas, it’s always best to find a safe environment that you can trust, to give yourself a chance to plant your harvest and watch it grow. When you learn to respect yourself you will quickly readjust whom you allow on your path, protect the entrance to your heart as it is said in the good book, when you hear, speak and take in your spirit could be poisons to your passion and soul. Keep yourself in the light and move forward!~Gia
