What's Distracting You?

In the Law of Attraction, the rule of thumb is that what you focus on will appear in your life. There will be days when things appear to spring up from no where, and materialize from a mere thought. How many times, have you thought of a person or thing, maybe just in passing, just to have it days or weeks later appear in your life?

My Grandmother has often advised me the old saying “Be careful what you ask for, because you just might get it!” This sage saying goes far beyond any old wives tale, when you focus your thoughts on a subject, the Universe takes that vibe and goes out and finds the matching vibrations, which in turn brings them back to you. Thus you are attracting to you exactly what is showing up at your door step. Now this process is very hard to accept, because some of the things that show up can be true distractions in our lives.

Distractions regardless if negative or positive all hold a position, to either enlighten your life or create a motion to grab your attention from what ever you are currently doing. Although it’s vast as to what is considered a distraction, know that everything is a distraction if allowed. There are a million things in this Universe competing for our attention every day this could be people, commercials, jobs, kids, even pets; are all pulling at us just for an ounce of our personal attention.

Our job is to make a conscious decision, as to what we will give permission to resonate in our lives. The Creator has given us a gift of free will, the power to make choices as to what we will accept or do on a daily basis. This free will is most powerful because it allows you to build character and experiment in making the right choices for you.

I often have heard, people make the statement that, someone out side of them selves will or won’t allow them to do something. I have heard the saying “They made me mad!” Well, the truth is that no one including the Creator can make us do anything especially with our emotions. If the Creator does not force us to love and pay homage to him, then I really don’t think he would allow other entity’s to be able to force us to do anything.

As all these distractions appear on your door steps for a reason, there maybe one or many at one time, all ringing your door bell waiting for you to make the choice to invite them in. Some of us have innocently opened the door and allow an unplanned party to take place in our internal space. Now, I don’t know many people that don’t enjoy a good party, or can resist attending to a ringing doorbell. But know that guest, regardless of invited or not, is and will take up your attention. This guest called distraction may only stay for a minute, but some stay way past their welcome, which we all know what having unwelcome guest in your personal space is like.

Once you have the understanding that you control your internal space, you will become the security guard of your thoughts and actions. I personally have moved my self in to an internal space that comes with a guard’s desk and gate. This guard will check all guests at the gate before they even can get to the door step. If someone tries to approach my personal internal space, and they are not invited or on the list of regular attendees, their access will be denied. Yes, every now and then you may invite an unsuspecting guest in that may have slipped through the cracks, but once you see any signs of disruption, pick up the phone call in the security and have them removed and their presence revoked.
Take back your power that the Creator has given you and know that only you can control the battle of distractions in your life.

Love, Peace N Much Respect!
