It's All About Choices!

My Grand Father was a very determined man, in his life, I have seen him make strong decisions and he taught me how to stand strong in the face of adversity and make clear decisions. But, there are times when I doubt myself, and I vasicillitate between having what I say I want, and wondering if I made the right choices and if maybe there is something better on the horizon. We all have made certain choices in our lives and some of those choices have not been to our benefit, in relationships, finances, jobs places to live etc. But the key is the gift of the freedom to make choices for our selves. If the Bible is correct it states that God gives us the free will to love him or to choose something else. to me if our Creator has given us the choice to love or deny him then making a choice is a big deal!! How do we determine that the choice we made will be good or not? How do we move forward after making bad choices? How do we correct mistakes from the past?

There are no clear cut answers that any one could give you, but spiritually and metaphysically we learn from our choices. Although we may repeat them over and over we still learn from them. Some people run from what feels good, because they don’t feel they deserve that good thing. Others take the good thing and because it is different from what they are use to, they find them selves making excuses and finding a way to sabotage it so they can go back to feeling the lost. Have you ever met someone that is so use to losing that they are afraid to win? So, they continue to make bad choices because that is what they become comfortable with. I feel that if you truly make decisions with love in your heart for your self and others, then doubt will dissipate. Doubt is that red flag that says hold up, wait a minute, and cross carefully. Just like we have street lights to tell us when to stop, go, and slow down, we have internal flags that guide us. Sometimes that yellow light might say slow down, but it also mean you can keep moving forward until you see red.

Decisions come in all forms; it’s making a choice and knowing without a doubt that this is the best thing you could make for your self. If you have doubt then a conversation with the Creator is in store! I don’t feel that we are left on our own to figure it all out. I think that God gives us wisdom and he blesses us with glory to feel what is for our good. I say all this to let you know that we are not alone in making decisions for our lives. Some of us will graduate the 101 of life with flying colors and some will struggle to get to the next level. But on the way we will always be armed with the power to choose. I just ask that as you cross that street of making decisions for your life, that you take a pause long enough to figure out what it is you truly want. Don’t proceed without looking both ways, no need to look back and know where you plan to go when you make your move.
Love, Peace N Much Respect!
