I was watching the news this morning and there was a report about fruit farming, and how to recognize if the fruit is ripe for picking. The process for strawberries and blueberries is that once they are ripe the removal of the fruit from the vine should be effortless.
In applying this process to your life events and strategies, you will often nurture dreams and goals and plant seeds in to your life, all the while waiting for the very thing you want to grow and be ready for harvest. So, patiently you wait for the fruit of your labor or dreams to be ready for the picking. Sometimes these dreams, goals or whishes are slowly growing on the vine and seem very hard to pick. No matter how much you water or fertilize it, the fruit is still not ripe enough to pick; no matter what you do if the fruit is not ready, it will only cling to the vine. If you force the fruit from the vine before its ready, you are tampering with the growth of your harvest. That is why it is best to wait and not force anything to be ready before its time.
I had an epiphany that we often question our selves and God about when will we see the fruit of our labor. “When will it be our turn?” “When will we harvest?” this relates to how the universe and the creator often is telling us that something’s take more time then others. No matter what you do, rushing will only spoil the sweetness of your crop and you will have to work harder to harvest it. The process of growing and harvesting fruit is very similar to trusting your self and the creator to produce the perfect harvest of your dreams and goals.
Fighting for and struggling against a process is not going to make things grow or go faster. Complaining or doubting you will ever have the harvest is not going to help make your fruit grow. But as a wise farmer, you will know to lay out your crop at a certain time, water nurture and let it go so that the process can be completed. Once ripe you will not have to struggle to retrieve your fruit, it will practically fall off the vine.
To all my Sisters and Brothers that are having internal struggles about something.
• Let go and allow the process to bloom.
• Focus your mind on the outcome you would like
• Imagine and feel your excitement as you expect to harvest your crop
• Don’t be hasty in picking your fruit to soon, allow it to grow to its full ripeness.
