What Are You Waiting For?

I was talking with some friends and we were having a conversation about how life seems to quickly pass by, if you are not paying attention. Some of us were speaking on how fast our kids were growing and some was talking about how quickly their pay checks are shrinking! Right this minute take a moment to reflect and look at your life; “Are there some things that you would like to do?” But, you put it off because of no time, money or opportunity?

If so, try making a list and allow you’re self to view the things that seem to slip out of your life, that you often say you want to do. During the holiday I got a chance to see the movie the “Bucket List” in this movie Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson are starring as two terminally ill men who escape from a cancer ward, and head off on an adventure to do all the things they have always wanted to do, but did not have the time or money to do! This movie captivated me, not only because of the great acting, but because of the fact that the story line is so close to home for so many of us. We all put things off and stay in our comfort zones for many logical reasons and excuses that we create for our selves.

Just because something is comfortable dose not make it safe or good for us! Some stay in situations because it’s too scary to do anything else or we are afraid of the change.
We stay in Bad marriages and relationships with people that don’t support us or we have out grown and nine out of ten, they don’t even have a clue as to what we want or desire any more. We nourish our selves with things we don’t really desire or take our bodies for granted. We ignore our children because we are too busy or tired to deal with them all for the sake of providing for them. We ignore our own internal guidance that tells us, we need something more!!

So, I was totally amused by the thought of making a list of things I would do if I too only had a short time to exist. Routine and stability is awesome, but find the beauty in escaping from your routine sometimes. Allow you’re self to open your mind to a wealth of adventure. Several years ago I was fortunate to travel to the islands; I loved it so much that I was afforded three more opportunities to go back. I attracted the opportunities by allowing my vibrations to reach for the chance to go back. Each time, that I was able to visit, I felt even more captivated by the beauty of the island. As I looked across the beautiful crystal clear waters I realized that taking the first step to look at what my desire was, allowed me to see out side of my own situation. This experience allowed me to see that what I thought was so important felt pretty small. I felt that was a reminder that God has created so much more for us to see and experience then the issues and everyday living that we allow for our selves. So make your “Living List and start living and attracting!!
