Reclaiming Your Independence!

As we get ready to celebrate the 4th of July, I wanted to take some time out to honor the Sisters and Brothers that are reclaiming their own personal independence, Independence from a divorce, bad job, un-supportive people in our lives, problems and frustration, financial issues, people that drain you or maybe even rescuing others or dealing with others problems. This is a time to form independence from everything and everyone that has held you away from freedom of love, thought and expression! The Law of Attraction states that we attract all things to us by our thoughts and actions, and as hard as it is to accept this we must look with in to find out why and what in our mind set has created the things that are in our life either good or bad.

I applaud all of you that have hit the restart button!! The fact is thank God that we can hit the restart button at anytime. Some of us have walked away from relationships some have lost jobs and others houses and cars. But as you walk away or as those things leave you know that you are making room for something more suitable for you. Allow people that truly have your best interest in your life to help you and encourage you. What use is an island if there is no life on it, so don’t always try to go it alone. You against the world is a big task by your self. For all of you that are struggling financially, make some sacrifices to reclaim your financial independence, that may mean moving in with a friend or sharing your space with a room mate or even if you are able to returning home to parents so you can regroup and gain some fortitude. There is nothing wrong with you finding ways to regenerate your life. Yes, the economy is crazy but if we embrace each other and support one another we can make miracles happen.

My family and I are very resourceful in making miracles happen for each other. If I have a pot of beans then one of my family members will bring the meat or rice or drinks or gas money. When you are on a journey to reclaim your independence you have to be resourceful and dedicated to make life happen the way you need it to. That may mean out with the old and in with the unknown and new. So, write your proclamation and let the world know that you are taken no prisoners and you are doing what ever it is that is good for you!

For those that are recovering from a relationship change, know that you need some place to heal your wounds so that you can resurface and be better then you were before. Eagles are awesome creatures that soar to great heights and latitudes. The Eagle sheds it feathers by the time it becomes thirty years of age. The eagle retreats to a mountain top where it will pick out its feathers and sometimes removing its beak and talon to shed off the heavy deteriorated parts of its self. This process happens with in a 5 month period where the parts that were removed grow back allowing them to live another 30 or 40 years!! We may not be able to re-grow body parts, but we definitely can shed feathers!! So as you enjoy toast and watch the fire works this 4th of July, create some fire works of your own and reclaim your independence!!

Love, Peace & Much Respect!
Gia
