Good Morning! Is it a good morning for you? Let’s go back to earlier this morning when you first awakened and opened your eyes. Take a moment and think back, try to remember what your first thought was. How did you greet the morning, were you focused on being tired and wishing it was the weekend? What was your self talk while you were getting dress this morning? Did you turn on the television and watch the news? How do you start your morning?
I was reading an article on the Law of Attraction and one of the things it spoke of is how we activate our selves in the morning. Now, I must admit, there are some mornings when my eye lids are dragging the ground. But there are other mornings when I follow a holistic regimen, of praying, saying my affirmations and gathering my thoughts of appreciation and gratitude. The mornings that I honor myself and my creator are the days that seem to flow best for me. If you wake up with issues and problems and negativity, it seems to follow you through out the day.
Have you noticed that the Sundays you attend church, your week just seem to flow better. This is because you have been fed the word of encouragement and reminded of the promises of God. Understand that you have been given a choice of making the decision which way your mind and attitude will go. You are never trapped in any situation, everything that is in your present life, is something you have created or accepted good or bad. Our mind is a powerful tool that was independently given to each of us, which incorporates our free will and governs our emotional intelligence.
We discount our selves, and give up our powers so easily by allowing outside situations and people to push our buttons! This includes how we start our mornings. Some of us allow our evenings to govern our spirit the very next day. Sleep was created with the intent of refreshing our spirit; each day is supposed to be new. It’s often that so many of us will drag arguments, frustrations and disappointments in to our next day. Let it go!
It’s not the fight that makes you strong, but practicing the habit of controlling your power, this is the essence of true strength. Stop trying to be right all the time! So, let’s say you prove someone wrong, spouse, child, mother, dad, co-worker, boss etc.. and you are trying to convince the other person that they are wrong about something, you have been arguing for months now, about an issue or someone told you a lie. How long are you going to fight this situation? Are you arguing the point to prove that no one can get one up on you? Are you trying to prove to the person, that they are crazy to think they can make you believe something?
No one wins in this situation, and I can guarantee you that either side will not get a prize or trophy for being the winner in the argument. Understand that what you focus on or frequently speak of, you will get more of. The Universe is always listening, even to your own self talk. Learn to take back your power, fight against nothing, try leaving it alone and letting the creator direct you in a more positive out come. Guard your thoughts and your tongue, and wake up your spirit in peace! The gift is that still you rise every morning.
Love, Peace & Much Respect!
